VENTRY Description

Leac na Ré: The King's Rock
This cross-slab stands against the E side of a field fence about 50m to SE of the calluragh (KE052-105001-).
It measures 1m in height x 1.03m in width x .2m in thickness.
Its present S face is inscribed with a Greek cross with expanded terminals enclosed within a penannular circle, the ends of which curve downwards to form spiral motifs.
Pendant from the cross is a stem, with an expanded end, which passes through the gap in the circle.
